I grew up in northern Virginia, attended McLean High School and Carleton College, and attended and worked at Camp Glenkirk. I lived in Seattle for 7 years after college and then got my Master's degree in Education at Harvard and worked for Voyageur Outward Bound. Jason Roberts

I grew up in northern Virginia, attended Thomas Jefferson High School and Virginia Tech, and moved to Seattle to work for Microsoft. I was a software developer for Systems Management Server and various components of the Windows operating system, ultimately becoming a lead developer working on the server side of Windows Update and related software distribution technologies. I left Microsoft after seven years to pursue a career in marine science and conservation. I currently work for the Duke University Marine Geospatial Ecology Lab as a software engineer and marine ecologist. Email is the best way to contact me.
