We spent a 9 days in Costa Rica, including time in Monteverde, a high cloud forest, and in Corcovado, the most remote and wild area of Costa Rica. Birds, monkeys and rainforests--Yee-haw!

Souper Squash (Josh Abrams and Marci), Angelfish (Angie Dickens) and the Marshall Collective (Emily and Cynthia Marshall) spent one week traveling the eastern portion of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in the fall colors.

We spent twelve days canoeing in the Boundary Waters Wilderness in northern Minnesota where Cynthia worked for the summer as an Outward Bound instructor.

We spent four weeks visiting Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland. Highlights included backpacking the Overland Track in Tasmania, scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef, and driving the Great Ocean Road.

October 2001

We spent a week backpacking the Icicle Creek area near Leavenworth, WA. The climax of the trip was ascending to the stunning Enchantment Lakes in perfect weather just as the larch trees turned golden yellow for autumn.
