We spent four weeks in Australia, visiting Victoria, Tasmania, and Queensland. Our companions included Catherine and Sven Lancaster, old friends recently married and moved to Melbourne, and Angie Dickens and Pat McIntyre, friends from Cynthia's days at Carleton College.

Cynthia kept a daily journal that formed the basis for this travelogue. The text was originally written for Cynthia herself, not the general public, so it may seem odd. Jason took most of the photos that appear on each page. Thanks to Linus Paulsson for contributing some scuba trip photos. All photos have been compressed for faster download, yielding some loss in picture quality. Please email Jason to obtain originals or if you have any comments!
